We have a new addition to our light modifiers!!!
The Larry Peters Eyelighter creates a beautiful clamshell lighting effect with a unique curved catchlight in the eye. So I decided to make my own. Since I have a personal studio, I figured this would be a beneficial piece of gear without spending a lot of money. Plus I enjoy DIY projects that enhance my work.

This second annual photography exhibition was a huge success! Five photographs were sold, making for a substantial donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. PhotoSpace’s hope is that this tradition will carry into a third annual exhibition, benefiting local photographers and charities alike and continuing to build many friendships for the future. Thank you, everyone!

Open Call for Submissions!
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Igor and I’ve been a member of a few local photography groups for quite a while. I’ve decided to hold another exhibition at PhotoSpace to give photographers another chance to shine and potentially sell, while bringing the members of our community together at the same time. I’m working with a curator to help me organize a follow-up exhibition of “Our Streets” titled “Our World.” We’ve been working diligently getting things ready, and its finally that time to send out our call for submissions.

If you would like to submit any of your work, please visit https://www.memphisphotospace.com/OurWorld/.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, September 20. Curated works will exhibited be freely viewable on Friday October 9nd, with an open reception in the evening. A percentage of the proceeds from all photography sales will be donated to a local charity. Message me if you have any questions, and thank you for your support and submissions.

“Our Street” Photography Exhibition turns out great success, 30% of the pictures got sold.

So a month ago, I contracted a curator to help me organize an exhibition of Memphis Street Photography. We’ve been working diligently getting things ready, and it’s finally time to send out our call for submissions.
